Awesome, I went to my Polyvore home and saw this on my activity summary:

“Your sets were in the top 1000 most viewed yesterday! - 10 hours ago”

Pretty cool!  Which is kind of funny, I seem to like to try and visually put together outfits I could see myself wearing.  What is funny, really, is that I have yet to try and find outfits to match the sets I created.  I hope that won’t be that way for too long!  My latest one is wine date.  Dressy yet casual with a bit of earthy laid-back type of sense, no?

Polyvore Sets

So…  With my latest post asking about some clothes I found online and made an image.  I’d have only created four sets before I stopped for quite a bit.  You see, my fourth set, it was created a bit more than a year ago or so.  My daughter is *almost* a year and half.  Umm wow.  How did I get to this point already?!  Then finally, my 5th set, Purple Haze, was created a week ago plus some more following that week.  It’s strange to see my first 4 set and the latest 4 I made, you can probably see a bit of sense in style evolving.  I can see myself wearing these.  Probably something to try and break from my usual sense of style.  Maybe it’s from the fact I’m a mama now and wanted to be stylish rather than dress like a mom.  Ya know, wearing stains and not realizing it’s there until too late.  Instead of eating out, we’re eating in.

Here’s some more for your viewing pleasure!  I saw that I can copy/paste the codes, yippie!  Well?  Like ‘em?

Work Casual

I’ve really liked this website.  It allows me to put together an outfit from many different places in one spot.  I am hoping this will give me an idea what an outfit would look like without pouring too much time in the store.  Sometimes having something like these would give me an idea what I really like.  Here’s one for work casual.  I’ve always talked about having a fitted blazer.  I came across one and built the look around the blazer.

Update:  I first posted this back in November 2009, jeez, has it really been that long?!  Well, as you can see, couple of the readers kindly asked about this set.  This was back in my “newbie” blog day where I wouldn’t have made proper reference to which website I used to create this set or where it was.  Well, I used Polyvore.  I first heard of this from a mama friend on an online community and have known them since oh, 2008?  I haven’t created much set for a long time.  When visiting again, I saw one item on the website, and well, it led to more items being added and from there, more sets was created.

Let’s try this again shall we?  I made the image “linkable” so it will tell what items is from where.  Since it’s so long ago, it’s probably out of stock but can most likely find something similar to it.

Shirt:  Arden B
Blazer:  Forever 21
Jeans:  BKE @ Buckle’s
Shoe (on right):  Kohls
Shoe (on left):  Mudd
Purse:  Fossil
Ring:  Fossil @ Buckle’s
Scarf:  Gap

If you click on the image, it will take you to more details.  I was amazed all these items except the purse were all under $50.  Wow!  Let’s put it this way, all items is less than what the Fossil purse would cost.  Don’t believe me?  Click the image and see for yourself!  : )  While you’re there, check out my other sets I created too.  I’m liking my Purple Haze set I created.

Purple Yumminess

I know yumminess isn’t a word, haha!  It was on my mind since I came across it.  Simply yummy!  I did a bit of e-shopping while Haley was napping (in her crib - yes, crib for the first time ever!  That’s another post on it’s own…)

I was looking around on Fabricworm’s website and came across Kate Spain’s Central Park for Her, a bundle pack of 10 different prints.  I just love it!  If you haven’t guessed by now with following the blog (or other than knowing me personally), purple is my favorite color!  I’ve always loved purple.  There were a couple years that I took a break from purple.  One experience scarred me for a bit that I just wanted to not see purple for a while.  Let’s say that the purple was not used in a way I would have liked and had put me in a sad state for a while.

The fabric bundle I came across is just adorable!  Maybe I should try and convince Hubbs to pick this up for me and say it’s a Valentine’s gift?  Hee hee!

::continues e-shopping::

::runs back in post::

I knew I’d be back.  I came across this really cool fabric at the same place…

Melody Miller Ruby Star Rising Viewfinders Pink.  Too bad it looks like it’s out of stock at the moment.

And see…  more purple!  Told you…

Give Away

I have a friend from a mama group (we met 2 years ago) and she is hosting a giveaway post.  Come to think of it, I RARELY participate in a giveaway.  Jenny at The Adventures of Two Under Two is one of the ladies that I love “talking” with even though we have never met.  With many other mama’s, we have followed her pregnancy of her little boy, Henry and she is currently expecting #2, Holden.  I must add that Henry modeling the hat is adorable!  How can you not crack a smile at that face?  Anyway, the giveaway item is from an Etsy shop, who graciously offered an item of the reader’s choice, is a HARD one to even pick.  I loved them all!  We currently have one, but not this one!  I also spy that a flower can be added too!  Haley has a hat right now and it’s a beanie, but no visor.  This will be great to add to her closet!

::crosses fingers::  I should add that I couldn’t be that crafty with crocheting.  I don’t think I’ll have that much patience for it, I tried years ago and it just couldn’t fly with me.

Baby Clothes!

I found bunch of baby stuff online (yes, still…).  Hehe.  :D  Besides, I’m looking around for good buys for the gift card we got from a friend.  I’m sort of waiting for a sale so I can maximize the purchase or something.  These are what I love.  I’m not sure what it was, but I think they’re Baby Gap or Children’s Place.  Of course, they had some purple stuff too.  :D  I just had to add them, wishful thinking that she may love purple too, just like mama!

Night Out

Cyber Window Shopping…

Bottle Rave

I have to say that since having introduced new bottles in Haley’s feedings, things have been so much better as far as spit up, gassy baby, less mess, and everything.  I had a sample bottle from my doctor (wide, not standard) and she took to the bottle pretty well from what we had.  Wednesday, after Haley’s appointment, I stopped at BRU before coming home to pick up more bottles (we had a starter gift from the baby shower).

Also, Haley is nearly due for her 2 months follow up appointment with her pedi and my prediction is:  22-23 inches long and 8-9 pounds.  I am fairly sure she is gaining well and getting longer.  Nursing her feels different for sure in terms of length as I have her at sort of an angle.  We’ll see!

Baby Gap

So we have a gift card to Baby Gap and seeing all the cute stuff they have, it was hard to choose. These are the ones I like so far. I think I’m dying with cuteness…
ladybug-shirt baby-jeans

What I like the most about the jeans is the fact that you can snap it open and close rather than taking the whole jeans off… I see several purchases of those kind of jeans in the near future…  It is hard to believe Haley will be a month old very soon.
